John Bedford (Modojo): Over here in the UK we're starting to get a bit excited about the looming start to the new season. Manchester City somehow managed to cheat their way to victory against Chelsea in the Community Shield match last weekend, and this re-stoking of passions has got us thinking about the dependable release of a new FIFA Soccer.

Just who is buying FIFA 13 on Wii U? We may never know, but there are more people buying that than there are Bayonetta 2 and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric.
Sonic Boom is riding off the popularity of the TV show; it's a bad game.
And as for FIFA?
Well, guess that goes to show that there's a lot of older gamers on Wii U that wanted FIFA, then; sports games generally do out-sell action games, and Platinum isn't known for large sales in the first place.
I'm not worried for Bayonetta. It'll hit that 1M mark by the middle of next year, surely, at its current pace.
