
The Xbox Live Arcade Summer of Arcade is once again soon to come to an end, with an arguably much weaker showing as of yet than in previous years. The final title in the 2012 lineup is Dust: An Elysian Tail, which has garnered an awfully large amount of attention in the past due to being developed by a one man team and it penned by the majority to be the stand-out title in the XBLA festival. Having put aside a good amount of time with the full title, I can safely say that it’s all of that and more. Dust: An Elysian Tail quickly sliced its way into the upper echelons of Arcade titles and took its place as one of my favourite XBLA titles ever.

It's right that we recognize the 12 best indie games of the eight generation of gaming. It would be remiss to ignore the impact they've had.
Hollow Knight was a masterpiece. I cared less for the arena combat (Gods, not in the in-game arena) but everything was tight and the exploration was extremely enjoyable. Absolute masters of their craft in level design. I hope Silk Song gives the bees a second chance since their area was only a short subsection.
