Paradox Interactive has released a new trailer from its upcoming title Starvoid showcasing the game's beta developmental stage.
lvl30.com: "Welcome to Starvoid, a real-time strategy (RTS) game built from the ground up for fast paced player versus player (PvP) action. While a battle for resources is the dominant theme of the game, you will not be spending time gathering materials, building up towns or developing strong economies when you play. Instead, you will be dropped into a PvP environment where you will be able to enter the fray almost immediately. If you’re the type of RTS gamer who enjoys rushing the other team(s) as soon as possible, this one’s for you."
Starvoid is a real-time strategy game that throws off the base building, tech developing, tropes of the genre to focus on the battlefield. In lieu of epic campaigns, the game is all about getting the most out of a few units in a short amount of time. Starvoid offers strategic battles, extensive customization options, and three gameplay modes to keep things interesting, but a lack of players might be its downfall.
Starvoid is one of the latest real-time strategy title published by Paradox Interactive, and developed by Zeal Game Studios on August 30th. The game is a heavily focused multiplayer experience, which in turns abandons the single player campaign. However, the developers promised in exchange a very quick and intense multiplayer experience. To be frank, the main question still remains? Does Starvoid, a heavy multiplayer game have what it takes to challenge other titles like Tryst, or will it be left in the dust?
