Tantalus Media is currently working on a new AAA title for next-generation platforms. According to the LinkedIn resume of an engine programmer working with the Australian studio, a “Wii U port of [an] unannounced AAA title” has been in development since last month.
Separately, the Tantalus jobs page notes that the studio is “about to start a new AAA Next-Gen title and is therefore looking to fill several contract positions.” While a specific project name isn’t listed, the studio is currently seeking a senior artist, game designer and engine programmer for work on the title. The listings note that the people who fill the positions will be “working closely with producers, game designers and artists to implement a cross platform next-generation game engine.”

Tantalus' CEO talks about the Nintendo Switch and how the studio reacted to the upcoming console's unique features
From the article:
"As someone who makes games, what excites you about the Switch?
Nintendo have done well in terms of creating a development environment that’s friendly and systematic. That sounds a bit limp, but as a developer you’re always looking to remove barriers to efficiency. We’ve been really happy on the Switch so far. Beyond that we’re absolutely sold on the concept. The controllers are very cool, and the possibilities they open up for local multiplayer experiences are really interesting."
Glad to hear that another dev is having an easy time with the Switch. I wonder what they'll be bringing over, now that they've confirmed they're bringing some games to it...
Glad to see all the positive views from different developer's about the Nintendo Switch. It makes me think back to the Snes era and all of the wonderful third party games between the Sega Genesis and Snes ah good times!
