
Last time we explored some of the general uses of camera perspective; now all that’s left is to apply them. Each perspective can be used and warped in different ways to accomplish different goals. In genre terms, survival horror has the widest and most unique uses of camera perspectives. There are horror games in first-person, third-person, second-person, and even 2D that have used the camera creatively to stress, scare, and stimulate players.

With the ninth mainline installment looming, it feels like the right moment to rank every mainline Resident Evil game from worst to best.
At first I was like, No Code Veronica on the list!? But then I seen Mainline. The list checks out, but I would personally put 2 over 4.
The original RE was the best. Its not on the list which makes no sense.
The remake of it was alright but should be higher on this list.

Capcom has launched a new website to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its long-running survival horror series, Resident Evil.

GOG appears to be teasing potential re-releases of Konami's survival horror game, Silent Hill, and Xbox Game Studios' Halo: Combat Evolved.
It's crazy to think that GOG will have Silent Hill 1/2/4, Dino Crisis 2, and Resident Evil 2/3 before the PSN. What the actual fudge is Sony even doing over there?
I will probably pick up Silent Hill 1 right away if GOG gets it, I grabbed BOF4 as soon as it was released, haven't picked up Dino Crisis yet since I already bought it on PS.
