A strong line up of games that all three showcased during their presentations.

Patriots_Pride5093d ago (Edited 5093d ago )

Agrees with Raidens - UBISOFT owned the big 3 who were sh!t this E3.

LMFAO at Wonder Book, Usher and Ninted with the WiiU Tablet.

@ below - not sure if serious or just trolling -_- what was shown at E3 was on a high end PC and if they do a console version it will be watered down and no where near the technicality and beauty of the PC version - Crysis 2 is a perfect example of this.

The 360 and PS3 have shown that they cant beat the milk out the cow anymore and need to move on.

Watch dogs look like a Next-Gen game IMO. If It is in fact a Current Gen I really see know need to rush the X720 or PS4

WagFanger5093d ago

@b163o1
It was run on a high end PC setup you retard.

PS3 and 360 are on their last legs. Only the first parties are still making progress.

I say bring on next gen!

I don't think Ubisoft won because they were "THAT GOOD"... but rather all the other conferences were very very weak lol

Sashamaz5092d ago

Love how you people pick the worst of Sony and completely ignore the new IPs among other great games they showed.

My problem with a majority of Ubisoft games is they don't play as well as they appear to play. The shooting games seem to lack polish. I can't quite put my finger on it, but Ubisoft games have "that" feel that I simply just don't like.

Campy da Camper5093d ago

Agreed. It's like that girl that everyone says is pretty and likes you but the pheromones just aren't there. You want to like her, see no reason to not like her but that thing inside you just doesn't click when you look at her.

Kevin ButIer5092d ago

Totally agree man, you nailed it, bubbles for you, demos and teasers from ubisoft are amazing but the final game always feel kinda cheap

bunt-custardly5093d ago

Ubisoft's games are all looking like top quality gaming experiences although I'm a little hesitant regarding Far Cry 3's direction.

LOGICWINS5093d ago

What about it are u hesitant about?

bunt-custardly5093d ago (Edited 5093d ago )

I liked the lone survivor element of the first two games, the openness and the exploration. The fact that in FC 2 I was a trained mercenary, a killer in an African hotspot filled with my own choices to track down my target.

Far Cry 3 feels more tribal, group based, something the four player co-op represents. I'm not so keen on the have-a-go hero premise either. Jack Carver was an experiment let loose, the new hero just seems like John Mclane (Die Hard movies) - wrong place at the wrong time type of guy.

dcbronco5093d ago

I think the character of Vaas will make the game. I didn't buy any of the other Far Cry games except 1. Vaas has pulled me back in.

WagFanger5093d ago

@bunt-custardly
Anyone who can go from being kidnapped to f*cking the kidnappers sister in that short a period of time is worthy of being the main character

Adexus5093d ago

FC3 is actually one of my most anticipated games this year, looks like they fixed what was wrong/annoying in FC2 and improved it in every way and I especially like the trippy psychedelic missions they have... and of course Vaas, how can you not love that guy XD.

Spinal5093d ago

Ubisoft had clearly won E3. im very excited for Watch Dogs. Assassins creed 3 a lil excited for that. last of us is another honorable mention.

bunt-custardly5093d ago

For a moment there I thought you said, The last of Us is another horrible mention.

Lol.

I can't sit here and act like I know these workers financial situations. And I'm sure nobody wakes up WANTING to go to court. But for the sake of the industry, I wish some of these types of cases made it to trial.

Settlements allow companies to continue to do whatever abusive practices they do. While the trials (should the company lose) would actually force real changes for the better.

But again, I'm not in these workers shoes and I can understand them not wanting to risk it.
