O'Malley is back. Anamanaguchi is back. And Tribute Games stuck the landing. Our full Scott Pilgrim EX review on Xbox Series X.

A treat for nostalgia fans and completists, but there’s little new in this rehashing of a classic that feels like an add-on rather than a fully fledged adventure

Azfar from NoobFeed writes: Scott Pilgrim EX doesn't try to completely reinvent the beat-'em-up genre, and that's what makes it so good. It doesn't follow the latest trends; instead, it focuses on performing the essentials really well. The result is a game that knows who it is. The fighting is fun, the graphics are bright, and the music keeps the pace up from start to finish.

"Scott Pilgrim VS. The World: The Game was a fairly successful video game adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim franchise, so it’s not too surprising that it would receive a sequel. Tribute Games, which consists of some of the original Scott Pilgrim developers, developed and published Scott Pilgrim EX all on its own. The result is a beat ‘em up that feels like a genuine sequel to the first game but surpasses it in nearly every way," says Co-Optimus.
