Saros Preview | IGN

IGN writes: "Saros tries at an interesting and ambitious story it isn't always able to effectively tell, but Housemarque has once again proved that its bullet-hell sensibilities mesh incredibly well with fluid and challenging action."

To see what... IGN having a much lower score on a stellar game to the masses again. Just common knowledge with them now

What are the clowns at IGN drinking?

Alek8328d ago

Close. They said the rogulike game focusing on rogulike elemnts is too rogulike.

The amount of stupidity and entitlement these "writers" have is hilarious.

The Video linked is a preview not a review

FPSRUSSIA28d ago

the review is out on YouTube not sure why he didn't watch it first to make sure its the right video.

Alek8328d ago

The video linked is a preview of the game. Here is the review, and they did give it a 7/10. https://www.ign.com/article...

The reviewer obviously never played a roguelike before, citing common issues like the combat being "repetitive", among other moronic takes on the genre.

At this point I think they give good games mediocre scores just to get more engagement on their terrible site.

Dandizzle28d ago

Yes, been saying that for a while now. They give ratings based on what will drive engagement and clicks not what a game rightfully deserves.

The first thing it says in this review is that the button mapping was a poor choice by the designers of the game. Apparently this reviewer didn’t look to see that you can change the button mapping like you can in many games.

darthv7226d ago (Edited 26d ago )

....if you have to change it, then it shows default mapping may have been a poor choice.

beerhound26d ago

Actually, what it says is that even if you do change the buttons, the punch and shield are still paired, which means your shield is always on a delay.
