Just before it was revealed to be cancelled, there were leaks saying it was due to be released. As trophies normally show up on the PSN backen when a game is complete and about to release - this leads me to wonder if the game WAS complete but Ubisoft pulled the plug because it felt the quality was too mediocre.

Earlier leaks have shown the project has a lot of issues to the point where they changed development studios

So it's really unsurprising if the game was bad

The tax write-off might have been more beneficial, perhaps?

So not only are they so incompetent they can't even complete a remake of a game that already exists but they can't even properly cancel it off the network. What a joke man 🤣

I'd be more than happy with a PS2 version included with premium with added trophy support, shame the remake never got released

It's crazy they'd rather just cancel and take a loss then release something that was ready

Wow no wonder they canceled the remake. He looks awful lol

italiangamer119d ago

I agree lol maybe Ubisoft did the right thing after all 👀.

TheColbertinator119d ago

Looks like AI Disney slop. Yuck.

MayorPauline119d ago

Just think. They went back to the drawing board after that disastrous 2021 reveal only to cancel what another team came up with years later. After the dev was hyping the game at the game awards a few week ago. Even then the higher ups probably knew the games fate.

He looks more Indian than Persian.

Dexterio118d ago (Edited 118d ago )

Rightfully canceled because it looks like the Prince of India game, not Prince of Persia lol
