Director Naoki Hamaguchi has confirmed that PC is the lead platform for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3.

Can Final Fantasy VII Remake retain its ambition and impact on Nintendo’s hybrid console, or does the weight of Midgar prove too much?
This recap will take you through the events which unfolded in FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, the first game in the FFVII remake project, in just over 3 minutes.
Set in Midgar, the City of Mako, the game explores the fierce struggles between the sinister Shinra Electric Power Company and the rebel group Avalanche, as they battle for the fate of the planet.
The next installment, FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, will be released on PS5 on 29th of February 2024.
Digital Foundry : Nearly two years after its debut, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is finally available for PC. It's a port of the PlayStation 5 'Intergrade' version that came out earlier this year and as you may have seen from the headlines, it's a contentious release to say the least. While Square-Enix's conversion retains all of the graphical features of the PS5 game, it's a barebones release, plagued with awful hitching and stutter problems and one of the most basic options screens we've seen in years from a major release.
FF7r is a crap port of a 2 year old remake of a 24 year old game... and it costs 80€.
Should only purchase this if you insane or desperate.
Cyberpunk is a work of art compared to this pile of garbage.
Sounds about right for Square Enix, the same people charging $170+ for the complete Kingdom Hearts series on PC when it's readily available for $40-and-under on console.
As it should be.
I never liked how they split up FF 7 in 3 parts, it should have been just one game as the original. Let the development take longer, I don't mind but I'm not touching FF 7 until all 3 parts are done, then maybe I might try it.
I think it has always been that way. all games are developed on PC, right? console dev kits are just for testing
If Square is smart, they're actually try to prevent Sony from gatekeeping it from PC again. But it is Square...
