Never been a fan this type of game. But… I have to say, this looks good

Well, one can't like everything. Even so, most people seem to enjoy the game so far. Very much so.

Like I said before

REANIMAL looks incredible. This studio is truly masterful when it comes to art direction and cinematic camera angles. I honestly believe they are the perfect team to develop artistic games using fixed or semi-fixed camera angles, similar to the Resident Evil 1 Remake.
I really hope this studio creates a survival horror game inspired by the original Resident Evil trilogy, incorporating cinematic cutscenes that serve the story and add deep emotional resonance. A game like that would be a masterpiece, blending the nostalgic atmosphere of classic horror with modern, high-fidelity graphics. I’m certain that if they successfully revive this genre with such creativity, it would definitely send a wake-up call to Capcom and force them to rethink their strategy

"Reanimal is unsettling, oppressive and sometimes shocking, yet masterfully crafted - a game that trusts you to interpret its horrors and draw your own conclusions."

REANIMAL (XS) Review | VGChartz

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "Like its many horrifying creatures, REANIMAL feels both gargantuan and wobbly. It wouldn't be ridiculous to claim Tarsier currently holds the presentation crown for this particular type of atmospheric puzzle-platformer. But in its quest to reach those empyrean heights, certain fundamentals were occasionally discarded. Some may say certain faults are endemic for these types of games, but that would discount even some of Tarsier's previous work as well. Its pursuit of branching away from the past reaches something of a mixed conclusion – though appreciated all the same."

Wow, well I haven't played it or watched a bunch of videos, because I don't want to ruin the game. Horror games I want all surprises and scares intact! 6.5 seems pretty harsh compared to other very reputable reviewers. Definitely going to play it at some point.

I mean, if you're a fan of Tarsier's Little Nightmares games it's certainly worth a shot. I'm, certainly toward the lower-end of the review spectrum, but I should emphasize it's still decent, a tentative recommendation for these types of fans (though the $40 price point isn't fun to swallow). There's just something about its annoying mechanical missteps that cause it to stumble. For comparison's sake: I place Little Nightmares (1) at an 8/10 rating back in the day.

Reanimal Review - Thumb Culture

"Reanimal, announced back in August 2024, is finally out. It comes from the creators of Little Nightmares 1 & 2, and has us stepping into a dark, depressing world. I’ve had my eyes on this game since it was shown, and I am happy to be reviewing it." Kyle @ Thumb Culture
