Probably the best non-FromSoft souls game.

jznrpg105d ago

Definitely one of them. Fallen Feathers and Wukong was great too. Wukong was a little more action than straight Souls like the other two which I enjoyed

Smellsforfree105d ago

Its pretty good but I find it a lot harder because it seems like parrying is required sometimes and I suck at it. Souls-like games always do that (making parry required) but no FromSoft souls game would ever require parrying a move (that I can think of anyway).

toxic-inferno105d ago

I played through the entire game right up to the final boss without bothering with parrying. But the final (optional) boss felt like it was nearly impossible without learning to parry.

Fantastic game though. There are even aspects that I truly believe surpass FromSoft's games.

qalpha81d ago

Sekiro is almost entirely parrying.

Smellsforfree79d ago

@qalpha I didn't think people considered Sekiro a souls game.

Good game but it's unclear where to travel to next. Tried speed running with a trainer on pc

Game seems cool, but without a physical complete edition I doubt I'll ever pick it up.

this has to be the best Month ever Lies of P and Day Z wasnt expecting it to be this good.

Terry_B302d ago

Not sure about that, but its good, I think 2025 was a great year for ps+ essential in general already.

Profchaos301d ago

Nah man you must be thinking of the month we got foamstars jk

lukasmain302d ago

YESSSS. I've held off on buying Lies Of P for the longest time. So glad I did

FIELDMARSHALL_P302d ago

Me too I was going to get to it when my back log died down I'll queue this one up for sure.

raWfodog302d ago

Same here. I was holding off to make sure there wasn’t any additional DLC after Overture, and then hoping to get a complete edition released. But now I’ll just add the base game to my library and pick up the DLC when it goes on sale.

toxic-inferno301d ago

I hope you all enjoy it! If you like Soulslike games, you're in for a treat. In some ways it's harder and a little more complex than FromSoft's games, but in other ways it's simpler. Overall, it's a good challenge.

It left me with some of my fondest gaming memories of the last few years.

lukasmain301d ago

I platinumed all the Souls games and the Nioh games. Best believe I'm going to try and platinum this one too. I've heard nothing but great things

goken301d ago

I struggle to think of a better month than this… all 3 games are solid for me, i was actually thinking of getting my hero 2 and day Z recently. Hee hee

Nice...on my Birthday. I'll finally try Lies Of P with the new easier difficulty settings.

DarXyde302d ago (Edited 302d ago )

I'm not sure about your "skill", but I consider myself a "skilled casual gamer" these days (basically, I can platinum From Software games without any assistance, but I don't have the personal bandwidth to commit to regular lengthy gaming sessions). Great at single player, pretty bad at competitive multiplayer.

Anyway, I say this to tell you that I'm going to have more faith in you than I might have in myself and say you probably won't need the easier difficulty. Lies of P is not particularly difficult. If you get the block timing down and catch on to the elemental weaknesses of different enemies, it's extremely manageable. A few struggles (two bosses in particular come to mind) but outside of that, you'd be fine.

EDIT: and of course, wishing you an awesome birthday ahead, mate. Cheers.

Great for Lies of P ..I guess.

Good for My Hero One’s Justice 2 Bought it on Steam a while ago.

Dayz? Not my thing.
