Capcom's Resident Evil Requiem is receiving the strongest purchase intent after GTA VI of all the upcoming releases in the US.

Resident Evil Requiem director Koshi Nakanishi talks about cutting content and making horror approachable.
DLC That NOW!!! please.. Love resident evil requiem and would buy dlc in a heartbeat. Did a video review for it too on our channel and site. Anyone who loves gaming needs to play the game as its truly a masterpiece.

Resident Evil Requiem surpasses 7 million copies sold, becoming the fastest-selling entry in the franchise
Street Fighter IV revitalized both the fighting genre and Capcom as a whole. They haven't let off the gas since. And that RE engine really turned it up. It's like everything they release now outpaces themselves. Still can't believe they're bringing back Onimusha. Top 3 games I'm looking forward to this year.

A fresh datamine of Capcom's Resident Evil Requiem has hinted at the game's upcoming minigame bringing back Mercenaries mode.
The game has been properly cracked by voices38, no Hypervisor bypass shit. It actually runs better without Denuvo. From Tom's Hardware: "Denuvo properly cracked in Resident Evil: Requiem, bypasses become plug-and-play — cracked version runs faster, smoother, and uses way less VRAM and RAM" https://www.tomshardware.co... I personally don't give a shit about RE anymore, same crap every year it seems, but I got to give to voices 38 good job.🙌
If Mercenaries is really coming back, that’s a huge win. It’s always been one of the most replayable modes in the series, especially in games like Resident Evil 4 and 5. Hopefully they modernize it a bit with online co-op or leaderboards, but keep the fast-paced arcade feel. Would be a great way to add longevity beyond the main story.
My body is ready
Purchase intent? lol why are we no longer saying pre-order?
I want that game yesterday
Unfortunately, my expectations for this game were shattered after seeing the showcases. I had hoped this installment would recapture the iconic atmosphere of the original trilogy, especially since it is set in Raccoon City. For instance, the character of Grace is irritating and lacks the charm required for a future protagonist like Claire. It seems Capcom has struggled to create truly iconic characters since RE3 and Code: Veronica (like Steve or Carlos).
I expected the gameplay to mirror the second and third entries (emphasizing silence, exploration, and combat that serves the narrative and mystery) . Instead, it feels closer to RE4 and RE7. Character movement feels unnatural, and the atmospheric tension of the originals is missing in favor of heavy action. The monster designs are more repulsive than they are artistic or memorable. Furthermore, the environment feels cramped; it lacks the grand, labyrinthine scale of the Spencer Mansion or the RPD—settings that stick with you.
The most frustrating element is the chainsaw, which completely shifts the tone toward noisy action rather than survival horror. The monotonous 'concrete gray' color palette makes the rooms feel indistinguishable. I also find the varied zombie attack patterns unnecessary; they should have stuck to the classic behavior. Seeing zombies retreat in fear when Leon kills another is illogical—zombies shouldn't feel danger; they are the danger. Their threat comes from their numbers and mindless aggression, not waiting their turn to be killed. The game should have focused on better traversal mechanics—allowing for dodges like Jill in RE3 or parkour-style movement (similar to Assassin’s Creed) to navigate rooms and jumb over desks —rather than altering zombie behavior. They could have introduced creatively designed new enemies instead, like the Bandersnatch from Code: Veronica or the Lickers and Hunters from RE2. Ultimately, I believe the issue lies with the director's vision. Had Shinji Mikami been at the helm, I’m confident the atmosphere and mechanics would have been executed perfectly
