Haven Studios' latest playtest of a pre-alpha version of Fairgames continues to 'find the fun', according to sources familiar.

Haven Studios faces uncertainty as Fairgames’ director Daniel Drapeau exits for WB Games Montreal, following Jade Raymond’s departure in May.
Not a good sign
It could end up another Concord embarrassment for them. Why risk releasing it.
Herman said something about not wanting teams to play it safe but yet want to fail early and cheaply? I wonder what makes this game special to Herman? When Jade Left it was due to early negative feedback of the game. If this game does release I can see it release late next year maybe early 27. Again, if it does release.
Unfortunately Fairgames so far is showing all the signs of a product that's not gonna do very well. There's a high chance of cancelation here.
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Haven Studios' live service PvP heist game, Fairgames, has been canceled, according to a new report.
Hopefully
It would be dead on arrival let’s be honest, cinematic trailer or not, first impression wise it looked awful.
Seems like Sony is course-correcting. That being said, they should shift these teams to making single-player games rather than shutting the studios down.
Great studios have fell on their face and failed trying to make live service games.
Not surprised to see another one bite the dust. Sony wasted so much money but also time on these live service junk games. Whatever happened to single player games that also have an online mode, such as the Uncharted, Killzone, Resistance games?
There's already too many live service junk out there as it is, Sony would be competing for scraps that Fortnite, PUBG, Apex, Warzone, etc. have the majority of the market locked down on. It always seemed like a bad idea from the start.

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Haven Studios Fairgames has been delayed to the year 2026, based on a new report.
If true looks like Sony will have a stacked 26. If they do a showcase it will be trailers for games that we know about with a 2026 release.
Good to hear Fairgames is shaping up well internally and has positive reception.
I'll be surprised if fairgames does not get cancelled or end up as a free 2 play game
Clearly Concords failure has shifted priorities internally for games like this
I’m really curious how they handle it, they literally bought Haven studios based on just this game, it’s crazy.
Good until then I’ll be playing game pass games but dropping that once Sony releases its games love having all consoles.
"According to Henderson, the release’s visual style has been toned down from its reveal trailer, and it’s now grittier and less colourful, resembling something like Call of Duty or The Division."
How can you make the art style even worse than it already was??
If it’s been 3 years since it was announced and it’s still “not fun” where the head of the studio along with other top developers have left then maybe just f****** cancel it
Oh no no…Bluepoint needs to close instead
I’m honestly buying into the tin foil hat theory that Herman Hulst is being scrutinised by higher ups and if he cancels this game he’s in bigger trouble than he already is. It’s like he truly believes it’ll turn out as a win for him.
Just cancel it, pretty much everything Jim did has hurt the PlayStation Brand, and needs to be excised.
Good. I love seeing Jim Ryan’s Live Service bs get destroyed. PlayStation is healing.
