Its short length doesn’t give it much room to be more than another sample of Neva, but spending more time in its gorgeous world and hanging with a cute wolf sounds like a good time

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "Given how its release after the original reflexively inspires anyone to question its purpose, Neva: Prologue provides an adequate answer. Subtracted mechanics can oftentimes prompt developers to hone in and expand on a certain concept, at which Nomada Studio succeeded. A few of the main game's critiques carry over here, but its shorter length also mollifies them. Treated like a little desert (as reflected in its modest price point), it's easily worth it."
In Neva Prologue, players follow Alba as she chases a trail of white butterflies deep into the corrupted swamps—only to discover a frightened wolf cub, lost and alone. To survive, Alba must earn the cub’s trust and guide them both through the blighted wetlands and the dark forces that stalk them.
