I’ll admit this game does get better at like the 20hour mark.
Had to force myself since I bought it but with the way pearl abyss is updating is definitely an 8-8.5 now. Side quest is still a chore. Especially when I have to follow someone and they slow ass hell. Biggest gripe is some quest has me going hella far and then the person move to somewhere even further to complete. Like why lol
This is only the 2nd time a score has baffled me for a game, 1st one was Days Gone. It's among the most fun I've had in a game. Something around every corner and full of secrets. Not seen a fetch quest and everything is varied as hell, the word I can describe it as is wild. The only criticism i have is the story. Ignoring the story I'd be rating it 90+
The reason I haven’t started it is I need to finish the game I’m playing but I’m also waiting for a few more patches which they have been pumping out quickly. They really listen to feedback which is great. Hopefully I get the plat for DQ7R by the weeks end.
