No, i don't play xbox. But atleast there trying to add BIGGER features and not small stuff like Sony always does. It just annoys me idk why. They hardly ever add 'cool' features. It seems like it's always some security update or minor thing they don't tell us about.

Onlive works good enough for me. I don't know why it would piss you off. Some people don't have gaming pc's so Onlive is their only option. You can also use it as a console. I don't see whats wrong with it besides a little bit of artifacting here and there and bandwidth caps (only a downside with excessive use).

The only thing it does is allow you to play your games as it is downloading.
You know there working on an exclusive game with 'CGI' like graphics right. Onlive is a super computer so it's exclusive games would be way ahead of what xbox and ps3 can do.
Why wouldn't it stand a chance against MS and Sony? It is way cheaper and is perfect for people who like to play a game on occasion. And that is a large target market.

Onlive has gotten alot more popular since they launched. Internet speeds are going to increase in the next few years, I don't see how it could possibly fail.
