Probably not... the game has been on that list for years. I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Well you're misleading people. At least update the article on your site (and this N4G post) and admit you screwed up. Numerous people, including myself, have already said the update is still not out.
Yep. Square knows people will still buy it at $40. That's why they didn't bother putting it on the VC.
Network Update checks the following URL when it downloads updates.

Look, it still says 2.36. It's not back yet...
No, but you can use the Time Machine to run a firmware 1.5 + 3.40 hybrid on a Slim. Anyway most homebrew is written for the 3.X kernel and up these days so the lack of 1.5 support is not so bad.
Well you can download the firmware manually at the above link. D_A's server will be fixed soon though.
The OFLC ratings listing that popped up earlier for MM9 listed the game as multi-platform.
E3.net is not the official E3 page. Just pointing that out.
Here are the screens in full 720p:

More of them too.
No, they aren't using UE3 for Resident Evil 5. RE5 is using their internal Framework engine.
Umm.. no, how do you figure that? This is a European based title, that's why they are using UE3.
Capcom Japan actually created its own game engine... it is called Framework and has been used in a number of their recently released titles (Lost Planet, DMC4). The problem is that the documentation for Framework is likely all in Japanese, so it makes sense for them to outsource like this.
PS3News is a terrible site. For those who don't know, back in 2006-2007 they used to strip credits from all PSP homebrew releases with their own website address. Near the end of last year, this backfired on them, causing them to shut down their entire site for a few months.
They came back recently and it seems like they are up to their usual antics again, but this time in the PS3 scene.
The stuff they are releasing information on does no good for the homebrew scene -...
Pic looks so fake.
It definitely won't hit the US or Europe until 2009.
Note that the post is talking specifically about Japan...
"Funny since you can barely run Vista and surf the net with 400€ PC.
My comp is a AMD Athlon +6000 4gb ram Geforce 8500GT + turbo cache and crysis is a slideshow. "
lol... that's because you bought a 8500GT. That won't even handle Oblivion. A 86000GT is like, $50 more, and will run Crysis fine at medium-high settings. I know because I have one myself. There is always a huge leap from low to medium end in graphics cards.
Anyway I believe Crytek here. B...
Place it in X:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE
X being your memory stick drive. If the folders do not exist create them.
Since when are there hidden files on a disc that Linux or Windows cannot see? Who really cares if it is 33GB or not.
I do recall someone from Konami confirming that the title completely fills up a 50GB Blu-ray disc but it's possible they just made a mistake, or they managed to bring down the size by compressing files near the end of the game's development.
Some people here get way too worked up over stuff like this.
Solution: don't play the game at 2560x1600, which is a resolution higher than "full HD" aka 1080p.
My $500 PC runs Crysis perfect at 1280x720
This site (WhatIfGaming) faked a response from Rockstar concerning the PC version of GTA IV before. Take their story here with a grain of salt.
This is rumor, nothing has been confirmed yet.
