Well the guy was at Nintendo for 11 years... it's newsworthy to me.
Obviously, he knows there are glitches in the game. You can tell by the nervous smile he made when he said that. Guess he didn't want to admit it though.
Well going by impressions over at NeoGAF, the game doesn't look all that great. But I agree it's useless to debate over this resolution stuff. It happens in so many games nowadays that it's not really newsworthy anymore.
It is possible that the retail game will run at a higher res. Unlikely though. We'll see.
Well of course publishers release screenshots and direct feed videos in full 720p, so it looks really good.

The textures are rather blurry which is an indicator of it being upscaled. So I'd say they are right. Haze is running at 576p.

Rockstar has yet confirm a PC release of the game, but hasn't denied one either.
I doubt it. Seeing as they've been removing every single GTA IV gameplay video possible today.
Not to mention it's not like GTA needs viral marketing... everyone already knows about the game. Even people not really into video games.
They would never release a double sided DVD.

We knew this awhile ago. SCEE basically confirmed it was real. However, all of the dates on it are subject to change..
Yeah, that list came from SCEE. The games are losing their online functionality, but only in Europe.
