Seriously, do you even own a PS3, but what you say I doubt it, each controller has its own potentials, it seems all you care about is FPS, and SUPER COMPRESSED formats, HELLO PEOPLE, uncompressed is a GOOD thing, all I see here is people b!tching about OH NOES WHY COULDNT THEY COMPRESS, because the PS3 is meant to be something that doesnt need compression, its meant to stream everything in TRUE HD, not some upconvereted format, which is why the XBOX has more ram, to be able to do nothing but ...
I may not be the biggest halo serious fan, but that looks sweet, thats something I'd pay 8 bucks to see :D, maybe even twice if it turns out good!
Well the main reason for things like that is, that its more of a spy shooter then a FPS shooter, its not going to be the extreme super fast pace of the likes of GoW or any unreal game, not comparing them, but the speed of the games, thats my opinion, I mean, it might not be everyones cup of tea, but it certainly looks nice for people looking for more then just the single player, and love that style of gameplay
I am certainly amazed what work they have done with this game, that they were able to bring a totally new controller and make it better then any other FPS system, except maybe keyboard, but this is just so much more inuitive, another point, is they have brought back a lot of aspects from Super Metroid, which they don't seem to mention, which is what made Super Metroid so good, the all in one beam, and the way the game flows and is made, I'm glad it has come out to be the game everyone expecte...

It never was an online game and never meant to be an online game, in all honesty, I'm so happy they brought back a lot of the old Super Metroid elements into the game, which still remains my favorite of the bunch, and if bioshock doesn't have online, I'm pretty sure MP3 can more then hold on to be an amazing game without it

The PS3 has less ram exactly because of that, less compression, if say, you were to take out a level from gears, and uncompress it, I'm sure it would come around to a gig or 2, so thats what PS3 plays on, its lack of needing compression, but uncompressed images, thus needed less ram to do that work, and having the processor be able to handle real-time rendering

The sony can take memory from the other components of the system, the memory of the ps3 is not just the ram, thats the icing on the top of the cake
Upscaling, downscaling, upscaling, I'd rather have a direct stream without any up conversions or downconversions
