How is it surprising that you can't sell a "Launch Edition" as launch has already passed? I'd guess that you still can sell it as a normal PS4, why wouldn't you?
Also, I'm not concerned about the PS4 yet. I'll be getting mine with the EU release and I don't expect these issues (at the moment) ...accoring to recent news more than 1 million PS4's have been sold so a few hundred or even thousand faulty consoles would be completely normal for...

I don't know how good a Syphon Filter would be with todays graphic standards. It seems like quite the challenge to bring this franchise to PS4 and I'd guess that this could be the reason we didn't see it on PS3. I wouldn't mind a new Syphon Filter (loved it on the PS1) but I also wouldn't mind something completely new from these guys.
Is this article really claiming 40% of all consoles are broken because 40% of the Amazon ratings are bad? I'd guess that about 200.000 to 400.000 people that got their console from Amazon are playing on their PS4 right now.

I think the ship fights in AC4 are awesome ...other than that Naughty Dog shouldn't let AC4 be an influence for UC4.
I think it's ok for Uncharted to be 1080p and locked @30fps just like InFamous Second Son.
As development on the PS4 is said to be much faster and easier than on PS3, I'm expecting a late 2014 release. They are working on it for at least a year now, after all.
Simultaneosly, my expectations are through the roof now. I'm hoping for a lot of new gameplay elements and open world gameplay, not the linear levels from previous games. An Uncharted 4 on new hardware has to drop my jaw like UC2 did back then to be a success.

Fall 2014 release with pirates would be awesome ...of course Assasin's Creed did it but an Open World Pirate game from Naughty Dog would be on another level.

Agree, their articles are good but their reviews are a joke. Of course you can't agree with every review score but I don't agree with any of them and the reasons for their scores aren't understandable to me.

Well one thing I have for you (as I work for a big manufacturer of household appliances):
This is company internal information, a retailer like Amazon doesn't get information like this (at least not from us). If something goes wrong, we just put a new delivery date into their vendor portal, without any explanation why that delay happened. I don't think that any customer service clerk knows what is going on in the chinese factory of Sony.
