No disrespect but maybe more people would care if the game wouldn't look like a chaotic browser game. Kickstarter doesn't make your game better, better luck next time.

Hopefully they are trying out something new ...developers shouldn't be bound to one genre. Trying out new stuff gives new perspectives which can help in improving existing franchises.

Your argumentation makes no sense at all. And popularity is the last thing one should care about on a console. It's most important factor is games and the X360 is falling short in that aspect ...it would be in my top10 (primarily because of XBL) but nowhere near second place.
More paid DLC, more microtransactions, more private servers ...

PS3 took the top spot because of BluRay and excellent first party support. Hopefully Ps4 can top that =)
