Yeah, facial animation, motion body capture and dialog inclusion sound exactly like the features I want the most on my gaming console.
Yeah it's expensive while the PS4 isn't considering it's better hardware ...so it should bring some arguments to justify that price - and that's pretty much where Microsoft fails right now.
Your laptop & phone do the same things the X1 does without having stuff like Facebook, Twitter or Skype behind the paywall. And I don't think that it does this kind of stuff better than those devices, either.
In the end, you buy it because it's a gaming console, and in that point it's inferior to it's competition in many ways.
How is it priced right when the competition has something better while charging less?
Again, do you have mental issues? The density of your comments is truly frightening.
Do you have mental issues?
I never used an external drive with my PS3 so this doesn't affect me. I guess you can't do that on any other console as well, reading speeds would be way too low to make this useful. And don't mention SSD drives, most people are not yet willing to get one with those prices.
It would have been competitive at this price if it had at least superior hardware ...or does Microsoft really think people are excited about using Kinect?
It's not justified and you wouldn't deny that if you had actually played the game.
Of course it's not the smartest thing to buy one this year, especially if you have a huge this-gen backlog anyway, but being one of the first is just so tempting. Also, I'm kind of bored by most recent games, a lot of games just feel like I've played them before.
Just like The Puppeteer, this game seems lovely crafted and very special. Both are guaranteed Day1 purchases for me regardless of any review scores and that's not how I usually buy games. But hopefully they will also be critically acclaimed so that they can be profitable in the end and we'll get more games like these in the future ...I'm tired of seeing shooters and sports gaming dominating the charts honestly.
lol
Actually, after playing the demo today I'm more excited about Puppeteer than about anything else in September. Of course GTA will be huge and I'll be playing it nonstop once it's out but Puppeter somehow is a different kind of awesome ...download the demo and you'll see what I mean =)
I'm not that much of a Minecraft fan but this is simply insane, mad respect for those guys. Showed this to my little brother and now I have to buy him the game lol
We need more RPG's in general, this gen was kinda meh in that department if you compare it to previous ones.
Very good read, goes to show what an amazing studio Naughty Dog really is. I'd love to see the motion capture footage of that alternative ending.
What are you talking about? New releases are priced the same on both platforms and PS+ is cheaper than XBL while offering 5x the value
http://www.gamerevolution.c...
Sales and discounts vary of course but I've never seen that a game is significantly cheaper on XBL.
I'm sure they will once Sony supports it properly. I think it's only missing some killer apps for Move, the hardware definately has potential but I'm not buying it for facial recognition or voice commands lol
Those timed exclusive DLC's were a big deal with MW2 and Black Ops but since then the hype for them dropped significantly as people realized that there are way better things to spend 15 bucks on than for a handful of maps and weapons.
I don't think you'll find many people who care about timed CoD DLC these days, so yeah ...we deal with it without dealing with it.
Ok and how many people are actually using and enjoying Kinect at this point? How many of them were lured in by Microsofts amazing marketing teams just to come back to reality disappointed? I know a few, and you certainly do the same.
