I also think that Uncharted 3 showed that the franchises quality (or WOW-factor) suffered from it's regular releases ...but new hardware brings in soo much potential that I don't mind a new Uncharted.

Maybe we'll see Uncharted 4 in November and God Of War 4 in March 2015 - same release windows as their previous iterations.
No Jak from Naughty Dog please ...they are too talented for a simple platformer. I want memorable, cinematic experiences from them just like from Santa Monica or Quantic Dream ..leave Jak for a smaller studio.

I actually thought that it depends on the situation - some pictures had much more Color on the OLED Vita while some scenes had more accurate and sharper colors on the LCD Vita. OLED wins in the end but the improvements on the new Vita make me regret buying mine last month ...knowing this, I probably would have waited for the new one - I also prefer the Vita in white :D
And I agree with the headline before even reading the article. Such discussions strenghten the position and importance of video game characters in general.
And it's good to hear that developers like Naughty Dog are aware of these discussions.
That's what I wanted to write halfway through reading this. Being in touch with the community and listening to feedback will pay off in the end.
I agreed with you ...but if you think about it - does any of us feel bad about giving Rockstar (!) a couple of cents? I'm rather supporting Rockstar than other developers since they make the games that are really worth it's money. Only because Rockstar is a big company now I don't mind supporting it just as I like supporting Indie projects.
The roller coaster ride made me remember why I was so excited about GTA 5.

It's a new IP on a new engine ...it's hard to shock people with Battlefield or Assasin's Creed anymore. They're good games but they won't WOW anyone with their fourth iterations.

Exclusive games tend (!) to be of higher quality though since the developer can focus on the strenghts of one system only.
Just put more money into one good game rather than funding 3 mediocre games - look at Rockstar, they are doing fine with focussing on quality.
Also, gamers don't want to pay the full price for 3 mediocre games ...but I'm gladly paying 60 bucks for real quality that's worth it's price.
Dead Rising is published by Microsoft, I'd rather think that DR3 stays exclusive and DR4 will come to PS4. (wasn't it the same with DR1 & 2?)
