Like I said in the other post,it appears that the Elite was the weakest link a'k'a was selling horribly in comparison to the Arcade and/Premium.
Microsoft aren't known for axing products without good reason,and 9 out of 10 times the reason is failure of great performance in the market.
So it IS true,the Elite wasn't selling well at all.
I wonder if they'll launch an Xbox Ultimate once the uhh,'economy',gets better.
Hopefully the game will be graphically impressive,aside from Polyphony and Capcom,Japanese developers have been slacking in this department.
IF Sony fire some of the people running the PSN and hire some people who understand,from a marketing and gamer perspective,the importance of social gaming-Then the PSN will easily surpass Xbox Live.
Since Sony are stubborn with letting go of underachieving employees,it appears that in this generation of gaming,Microsoft will have the superior Online offerings.

Obviously they don't understand that Microsoft have failed to tap into the casual market for the second generation in a row,they keep convincing themselves that Microsoft are doing great right now-That is,until Microsoft axes another first party studio and loses yet another console exclusive.

Microsoft did a great job this generation in terms of paying 3rd party developers for games and strengthening their Online service.
