I agree long cut scenes kill the gameplay momentum id rather see short in game interactive set pieces that ties into the action well driving the story forward at the same time without killing the gameplay momentum!
P.S There's other games that had short in game interactive set pieces that kept the gameplay momentum going well driving the story forward like god of war 3 for example!

They shouldn't take away weapon & armor degradation they should improve,balance & build upon it.They are turning their backs on the core audience for the casual audience because they care more about the profit then quality of the product their selling gamers.Some people are just so ignorant & brain washed by the marketing hype to realize it!

Sorry to say but apple is the best at making the most energy efficient yet power & compact hardware designs in the whole computer industry well everybody else is still caughting up.
Sony should take a lesson from apple's compact designing skills because this design would be a perfect design model to model playstation 4 after because there is plenty of breathing room to make it powerful yet compact without crippling performance...
