His comments indicate that SONY and M$ will both of game streaming services. I mean, we already know GAKAI will be there on PS4 but so far, we haven't heard of such a thing for 720. I believe M$ will also have a GAKAI-like gaming service which leads me to wonder about the future of Nintendo.
Really, we need all three companies making a decent profit. Competition only benefits us and our wallets :)

This is a good move. Consolidating your resources and sharing a pool of talent instead of everyone being a completely different entity while working under the same umbrella is a better option. Sadly, this means a some people will probably end up losing their jobs but small measures like these do help companies get back in the black and secure jobs of a lot more people and help stabilize economy.

No, I believe SONY is on the right track. The article assumes a lot of things that they should not. M$ will have to deal with a huge mess if they block out the used games and in this game, it seems that they are going that route.

When I saw the Caspian Border trailer of BF3, I was left speechless. For a moment, I thought that the trailer is taken from PS3 but then reality hit me. Don't get me wrong, I pre-ordered BF3 and played the heck out of it but when you compare those graphics with the ones that we got on PS3 and Xbox 360, there was a huge difference!

This is far less gimmicky than all those Kinect/Move/Wii motion controls. This is what can actually make a huge difference in not only game play but also the depth of player's immersion levels.
I am very optimistic about this technology and I hope that it won't cost a fortune and that developers will actually support this tech including the platform creators such as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
