I think the game is great and deserves at least a solid 8.
What I meant to say was that it's not just EA. It's also DICE. Surely it's the publisher that's got the last word but devs, especially big devs such as Dice must also have a say in it. Enough to make the publisher rethink their strategies. After all, they HAVE to please their shareholders and releasing a broken game will NEVER bring in the profit they'd be hoping for.

Yes and that's why I said, this is not cool. You can't lie about this stuff. We KNOW that you can easily buy an X1 right now and even right after launch and that means it was NOT sold out.
I don't know about you guys but I have made an oath to never buy a Dice game at launch. NEVER! I am gonna take my time, wait for the endless amount of bugs to go away, perhaps even look for a price drop and THEN take the plunge. Yup, Dice have screwed with us way too many times now! And don't give me that DICE are cool, it is EA who are devils. Don't you dare good sir!
Hours of listening to soothing PS4 menu music? Man that music is soooooo annoying. I couldn't take it more than 10 minutes. I switched it off right away! Hope that will go away or be replaced with something else that doesn't make me want to pull my hair.
As for the launch offering, well, they moved more than 2 million units. I believe it's good and who buys a console just for the "launch period" anyway?

I don't known about you guys but I like this third party competition. I mean, yeah, I'd love to play this game on my ps4 but, I'd like to keep seeing a healthy competition between Sony and MS in both hardware and software. I am sure Sony will strike a deal with some other publisher or devs. Remember, we had exclusives like Flower and Journey etc.

It is in development. it'll come but seriously why are some people waiting for it so much? it's not like as if we don't have new games to play. I think it's a sorry of an excuse to come down hard on Sony. I'd rather see Sony take more time to develop a truly masterpiece than rush out an unfinished product.

As much as we dislike EA, there is no reason to get so much upset about timed exclusive dlc. We got everything early (one week) on ps3 version of bf3.
I wholeheartedly agree! Squad party it's still broken and voice keeps disappearing. Some maps suck big time with painful bottlenecks.
But I can't wait to play bf3 re-imagined maps.
There should be some sort of a legal action taken against DICE/EA. Shipping an unfinished product should be a serious offence. I don't know about the rest of the world but in USA, I haven't really heard about some legal company or our government cracking down on this sort of business practice. This sounds illegal. Someone, somewhere need to take EA/DICE to the courts. I have no means to do this and I am sure there must be hundreds and thousands like me who don't know where to star...
