Well, to be honest, I would LOVE to turn off that light bar. It'd be nice to have that option. I want to save the battery as much as possible even though, it's only LED. I have turned off that little speaker on the DS4 and have also turned off Vibration (never really cared about Rumble that much) yet the battery still sucks compared to the rock solid, long lasting DS3 battery.
Lastly, the one that that I am VERY annoyed is the bluetooth headset support.

Sony should seriously consider to disabling that light bar. Granted, it doesn't consume a lot of power but it does consume some and for what? I don't have a PS Camera (yet) and until I get one, I really don't see the use of that light.
Right now, all I want from Sony are just two things:
1/ Support for official Sony wireless headphones on PS4
2/ Let me turn the light bar off

I own the original Playstation Wireless headset and I fear for the dongle! What if it gets lost/damaged or malfunctions? Do I have to drop another $100? Sony should release the standalone Dongle. Surely, I can't be the only one who thinks this way?

nightsurge: Well, GAIKAI was there before Sony purchased it. It ran fine then and the servers weren't "down the hall" for all of their users.

Hmmm... Ok, yes the potential to control the living room is huge but at what cost? Why would anyone buy a PS4 if all they need to play Sony games is just a simple subscription and an ipad/surface/android? Or will this service be available EXCLUSIVELY on Sony hardware (Xperia, Bravia etc.)?
