the gameplay was definitely a step in the right direction as far as gaming as a whole goes...
but the game itself gave my a mixed reaction towards it....but I see serious potential in the style of gameplay implemented...
so you're saying that Sony should have paid Square to NOT put the game out on the 360?...
why would they be stupid enough to get manipulated like that?....

the thing is.....there's only one difference between the game that Japan and the rest of the world gets....and that's voice dubbing...
it's not like Japan is getting a different version of the game..
so if they have to work a way around fitting the game onto enough DVD9's as well as on the 360 console while still keeping the game the way they want it...that would affect the Japanese version as well...
edit: also...whether or not they have started the 36...

well, Bioshock is on the PS3 and ToV is coming as well...
the PS3 hardware is touted as superior from within...and they run on Blu-ray discs...so it would be hard for anyone to say that about the 360...
the one major thing that separates the consoles is the format they use to put the games on....the rest is just opinionated....at this point anyways and we'll see about that over the next 12 months...
I don't know what software lineup you've been looking at...
the current lineup is good...and the rest of 09 is looking strong...
these games need a PS3 price cut to reach the sales figures that they deserve...
....but Sony isn't losing money on each system sold....
that is why they have kept the price where it's at for this long....plus the manufacturing costs for Blu-ray are way down and that was the biggest problem in regards to dropping the PS3 price... and that is one of the reasons they are making money on each system sold...
good points here...I think this generation will be one of the longer ones and that the XBOX 720 will come out around 3 years before the PS4 would....
but imo....the PS3 isn't behind....the difference between sales (because everyone is looking at it from a sales standpoint) is about the amount that the 360 sold in it's 1st year....
if you go by "since inception"...they are even...
yeah the game seems storyline driven and from what I've seen (which is enough to go off) lends me to believe the storyline will be epic...
I mean...it better be....the game is focused on it...
