I agree that multiplayer only games seem steep for $60 but I know plenty of people that buy games like Call of Duty and never play the campaign but put 100s of hours into multiplayer.

In today's market, I think it's difficult to decide what to invest in - from a developer's point of view. Why make a 20 hour campaign if a large portion of your audience isn't playing it? At the same time, if you use less resources to make a multiplayer only game some consumers w...

It's a pretty good list but swapping out NintendoLand is probably the best way to go. There are plenty of better Wii U exclusives. Its hard to argue with any of the other games on the list but it's worth considering

Smash Bros
Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze
Pikmin 3
Rayman (originally a Wii U exclusive)
Zombi U
Scribblenauts

Any of these games would be a better representation of Wii U games than Nintendoland I thin...

Nintendo games always deliver in terms of performance. A typical Nintendo release doesn't require patches to fix anything that could be "game breaking". The quality is always there as far as that and their efforts in delivering on the experience they are aiming for.

It seems to me that you're trying to say that the games aren't necessarily the games you want. Amiibo Festival isn't for me, but it delivers on what its trying to be. That's more the ...

They did but Pokemon isnt a first party Nintendo game since its made by a different company :)

It's because of how Nintendo develops games. They decide on a gameplay concept and design around that so when they have to go back and change anything, they go back and change the gameplay mechanics and then adjust the rest of the game accordingly. They're development cycle is not like most developers.

On top of that, they have had to create the engine this game is running on. Considering they've generally taken 5 years to make a main entry Zelda title, this seems...

Yea, the last part of your comment is exactly what I mean. I know the story is brand new but the game is so long and they're keeping the same gameplay so I dont want to burn out on the style.

I remember that happened when I played Uncharted one, halfway through Uncharted 2 I was over the repetitive actions. Thanks for the feedback tho!

I havn't been on a plane since I was like 4 years old but team plane just feels right for this.

Im going to have to buy an external hard drive just for this game. It feels like we've been waiting for this one for a looong time. I cant wait. I actually stopped playing through Xenoblade on 3DS so I can go into this one fresh. This Fall season has too many good games but this is one of the top ones on my list

Yea. I really hope this game maintains its popularity. It would be awesome to see what people are making a year from now, once they really understand all the different tools. Nintendo should probably throw up some DLC every now and then to keep the buzz going. Loving this game.

Not a big fan of the carbon roller but that new special sounds like fun. I like to use the bombs specials anyway, they can get kills and cover an area in ink.

Happy Birthday Nintendo! They need to re-print those original 1889 playing cards - Id buy a set :)

Not a bad list but how can you leave Bowser off? These are all pretty good villains but it feels like some more obscure villains were included just for the sake of being different. Bowser needs to be on this list.

I dont see why so many people always need to use this phrase: "final nail in the coffin". It just sounds so dramatic, especially when you're talking about video games. Just.....ugh.

Anyway, the game being delayed is going to be a problem for the Wii Us' holiday line-up. The big games in the US from now until the end of the year are Yoshi's Wooly World and Xenoblade Chronicles X but both of those games are out in other regions. Is Nintendo really hoping t...

I wonder what the thought process is when deciding to make a character 15 instead of 13 - makes me wonder what is happening to that character in the story?

This is really cool that the DLC is free since we're waiting a few extra months to get this game in the U.S. Cant come soon enough!

Yea I know, I played it. It just didn't feel like a full game that's all. Wonderful 101 and Lego City just feel more deserving of being on this list to me.

Yea. Bayo 2 with the first game included was a crazy good deal.

Its hard to knock any of the games off this list except for one - Nintendoland. Its true that its probably the one game that shows off the game pad the best, (other than Super Mario Maker) but its more a tech demo than actual game.

Wonderful 101 was good but not really my style.

As far as exclusives go I would add Lego City Undercover to this list. That game is really undervalued. Its awesome.

Based on your comment, I take it you wont be playing this game then. Good luck finding what you're looking for.
