All games now require a controller.
Yes, it requires a controller.
Honestly tired of these xCloud articles. Please tell me who is going to use this on their phone? Who is going to carry a controller around with them? Hardly anyone.
Halo's flagship title, their most important franchise will not be available at launch or even the first several months. You don't see how that will help Sony?
No one worries about Sony, because they deliver on games. People will buy their console knowing the future games will be delivered. The same cannot be said about Microsoft. So when they fail to deliver their biggest game for several months... they're going to sell less consoles during the holiday.
Nah, it is about cry baby gamers. This game is a year old. The company had to spend money to do next gen upgrades. If you want those upgrades, you can pay again.
Or you can just play via BC.
So they increased the battery life by say 50+ percent.... sounds like they did release a controller with longer running battery life.
I have a charging dock. I play my games, when I'm done... I put the controller on the dock. It isn't the end of the world.
Which will all run on X1.
Catch a break? They are doing this to themselves.
What about hardware price? Show me a PC that costs $400 that will last 7 years. In that 7th year some of the most beautiful games ever can work on it smoothly.
Because that's what Sony can do.
To anyone bashing Koticks salary, if you don't think he deserves it... go run a company and make it worth billions and billions if you think it is so easy.
I like how the article talks about SSD were too expensive to do this 7 years ago.... but then they use this monster for some reason.
There are like 10 story quests that take 20 minutes. So, while there is a story... I'd say not really at this point.
This is quite a leap of a conclusion based on some wording from a toy store.
But it is obvious these statistics are flawed. You think these consoles are going to sell 50+ million in 3 months?
Well obviously half of gamers aren't buying next gen within 3 months. Did they only poll die-hard console fans?
Numbers don't lie? You literally made up a bunch of assumptions. You have no facts. I didn't see you mention Halo Infinite costing a rumored $500 million for example.
Phil Spencer 100% said "You won’t be forced into the next generation. We want every Xbox player to play all the new games from Xbox Game Studios. That’s why Xbox Game Studios titles we release in the next couple of years—like Halo Infinite—will be available and play great on Xbox Series X and Xbox One. We won’t force you to upgrade to Xbox Series X at launch to play Xbox exclusives."

No limitations folks! Just ignore the bad demo we had! Just ignore that we can't show you any game play! Trust us!
Microsoft has said 2 things in recent past.
1) They will stop revealing games too early.
2) All their exclusives in the next 2 years will work on X1.
So certainly one of those is another Microsoft lie.
Let's be honest if there is a gamer who isn't an Xbox or PS fan boy and they haven't even decided which console they are going to get first...
No Halo certainly could tilt the decision towards PS5.
