Things get cut from games just like movies... this is normal.
Someone care to lay out what records exactly were broken?
You guys are right... EA doesn't do remasters. Instead they just put out the same sports game each year and change the year in the title. Worse than a remaster.
Barebones MP may be why the game died quickly. But I would say that lack of campaign prevented a lot of sales in the first place. There are a lot of people like me who buy games for the campaign and aren't so interested in MP.
Is there a place to check your membership history? I know I've had it since the beginning but I don't know if I missed any months on accident.
I'd call that unrealistic expectations. It isn't a handheld gaming machine.
I love the excuse that you guys pirate so you can demo. First of all, sure you do. Secondly, what makes you think it is your right to demo?
Are you trying to use it in another room or something? I wouldn't call that chained.
Did he call the Gamepad a more traditional controller?
He hasn't been there long enough to drastically change the developement of games they were already working on.
But what about things like Battlefront pricing? Everyone and their mother knows it was one of the most ridiculous cash grabs ever. $110 for a game that ain't that great. He could have changed that. But he didn't.
Yes, that is quite hilarious. The all-inclusive edition still doesn't actually include everything. Ridiculous.
Maxing out doesn't mean much really. If there isn't any optimization, it doesn't mean squat.
There have been six 36 hour outages? You're an idiot.
Even if we go with that... I doubt that all the companies and websites who gave out all of those GOTY awards are being run by people born in 2000 or after.
Millennials were born as far back as the early 80s, which includes myself. I do think it is one of the greatest games ever. Why exactly is my opinion not valid because of my age?
Vorpx is just another $40 you'll have to pony up. Like you said, 100 games... that is a drop in the bucket for all the games out there. Also, if you go read personal experiences of using Vorpx you'll find it has a lot of issues and sometimes you have to spend quite a bit of time changing settings for a single game to get a good experience out of it.
I'm not saying that VR doesn't offer a new experience, it certainly does. That doesn't mean it will succe...
Your analogy isn't very good. A game has to be specifically developed for VR (just like Kinect or PS Move). That is quite different than offering a higher resolution.
Also when it comes to resolution, we know that as the years go it will become standard. We do not know that for things like VR.
If it doesn't sell well, games won't be made for it as much. So yes it is a problem. It is already a niche product.
99% of people probably have a $100-$200 monitor.
Sorry but all that is based on a random reddit post. Even if true, have you considered there is a reason Bung8e gutted the original story? Maybe it was worse.
And once again, trailer footage being cut from the final product is quite normal.
