I find it damaging that first party games are coming out under 1080p native. 3rd party it is to be expected, they need a year to learn the hardware, but 1st party devs don't have that excuse. They can just talk to the higher ups on how to best implement things.

We may see 600-800k WiiUs sold in Nov and Dec, and that is being generous. It is just as likely that it will only sell 100-200K seeing as entire store chains have stopped supporting it.

That xbox one was terrible. I still got 1 and 2 for the genesis, complete in their boxes. My copy of 3 is in a landfill somewhere keeping ET company.
The defining moment in the series was when you first went down the hallway in MGS1 and saw the bodies and the invisible ninja killing them. That creeped me out so much back in the day and scared me more than games like Resident Evil or Parasite Eve or dino crisis (we need a return for Parasite Eve and Dino Crisis!!!)

I can see where he is coming from. But it's no problem for sony. Anyone who would cancel a preorder just because of a week launch is fickle and will pick up the system come spring anyways. Meanwhile there are plenty of other gamers wanting a PS4 that would happily pick up the newly available launch ps4.

not having 1080p is simply laziness. There is NO limitation that hinders that from happening. These consoles can handle it if the developers are smart enough to use the systems correctly. That is why I am especially critical of 1st party devs as they have no excuse to not maintain that.
I've had a 1080p tv for 6 years. Its about damn time my games actually use my tv to its fullest. Or are you saying my old Toshiba from 2007 is super advanced?
