this is hands down on of the best games of last gen.if you haven't played it, your in for a real treat.

if i thought like these guys i would've never played the greatness that was assassins creed 2 because vanilla was a repetitive bore fest.
nope it's me too.vanilla has come and gone for me,i'm over it(it was good but not great).
things look much improved with 13-2 so it's a day1 for me as well.
ff is exclusive to the ps3 in japan.

the game sold like 5-6 mil on p.c(mybe more)...i'm not a p.c gamer but even i update my p.c to play hl2 so it being a exclusive is absurd.
also ms has a stronghold on the fps market so i find it very unlikely that gabe would ignore that fact.
only thing that can support such a claim is that ps3 users are geared to story driven games (more so then ms fanbase), but thats still not enough to make such a claim.

the game is great when it works, but broken quest-lines glitches (i've killed dragons and can't absorb theirs souls)and a all around general lack of polish that went into the ps3 version this game should be a 6 at best on ps3.

i thought the game was @ it's best when it focus (no pun intended lol) on the characters and at it's worst when it forced you into corridor/linear gameplay mechanics.
this was my problem with ff13, it was all action and nothing to break up the monotony.i loved the combat system but to much of anything is almost always bad.
barthandelus would've made a great antagonist if they would have gave him proper time to develop (like seymour for example). ...

no, because your saves get progressively bigger as you save.doesn't matter if you only allotted yourself 1 save it will get bigger the more you save and the game autosaves.
i dl'ed the patch and for 3hrs it was running as smooth as silk with a few shatters here and there.
then i hit whitehelm and the game lagged at like 5frames, i restarted and all was good again for like a hr.
i'm thinking of trading this in towards 13-2 because ...
