Fight Night Round 3 was my favorite. Played the sh*t outta that game. I didn't like the last one that much, other than being able to play as Mike Tyson. Also, there seemed to have been way less characters than usual in the last one.
Man, they need to bring back Secret of Mana. Make it like the original though, not those crappy sequels and spin-offs. Just HD the sprites out like Bastion or something. Make the game a few times larger than the original Mana, and make it where you can go back and continue upgrading and fighting and possibly doing quests/missons after you beat the game. Have the same 3 player or up it to 4 player co-op, and make it online.

Metroidvania games use their space so well. Backtracking to past areas multiple times to go unlock various secrets you didn't have the weapon/upgrade/item to get to before, without it feeling repetitive is part of Metroidvania. RPG elements are in there, exploration, huge boss fights. It's just cool all around.

I love how all the devs working on games and everyone else and their mother go into detail about how Esram is a nightmare compared to 1 unified pool of memory. Yeah, you can arrange everything perfectly to fit the stuff that needs the faster bandwidth in the 32mb ram. You can also make super nice looking games on PS3 if you are a master of the SPUs, that doesn't mean everyone's gonna be doing ...
Yep, got on tonight, and it's the first time I had stutters while in a match. I usually only have a stutter or 2 when I'm first being connected to someone's game. Now it stutters while playing, and almost got me killed on a boss when it kept freezing at the start of the fight. Hopefully a fix gets pushed through quickly.
Come on now, it might not be your flavor of game, but "horrible", that's a stretch.

Same here, I was gonna buy 2 copies, 1 for my nephew. It seems like the type of game that would get dlc support. I'd like more complex missions with more boss fights, rather than the small fetch ones. I've hardly gotten into the meat of the game yet though, and I love Metal Slug, Contra, and all those old school platformer shooters. Mixing in RPG elements and gun modding/crafting just adds to the replay value. I hope there's lots of different areas in the game, so far it's fun...
