I was thinking about something like this before.
the customization of SL
the simplicity of Sims
the features of Xbox live.
throw in a Casino, a movie theater, a mall(for purchases) and you're set.
Supposed to be in fable 1 btw, the rent a hero thing was a way to get a friend to tag along but once again they didn't get around to adding it properly.
A lot of the titles you mentioned weren't done by sony either, only published.
Looks like sony is going back to the previous generation with rumble. I guess the console's not next gen after all.
but my guess that this will only be used in 3rd party controllers and maybe wheels, even then there wont be much support.
It might be a bit more than just co-op I'm going to assume it's more like guild wars.
remember this is also ign which is predominantly ps3 bias.
I think microsoft is the larger developer, since after all they are a software company. The game studio may not be as large but I'm pretty sure overall microsoft has more developers.
I predict that more poeple have $20 bills in their pocket that $100 bills. Price matters.
I said it once and I'll say it again. Motorstorm is the Dumb sexy blond.
She'll give you a couple things you rarely see.
She's pretty to look at.
She has a couple new moves, but she sticks to what she knows best.
She's fun to show your friends.
But don't expect to carry on a thoughtful or invoking conversation with her.
Now this isn't a bad thing, not at all but, you can't call it an AAA title. An AAA title will keep you playing long after you...
It's also with out japan, since those are US numbers only.
Dude where have you been looking after going into EB's, BB's, superstores, and wlmarts I've come across at least 200 consoles. I'm a computer science major at the UoC and I can attest that the ps3 is not selling, just go into the eb besides SAIT in northhill mall and they'll tell you they have 7 or so laying around.
I would have to disagree with you deathtok.
Fable, Forza, Banjo threeie, project sylpheed, blue dragon and lost odyssey, to call the 360 continuing a boring trend of nothing but fps and racers is be close minded.
Why buy sony's ps3 when you can get a better blue-ray player for the same price?
Just kidding, I think it's pretty stupid for them to do that when they can just offer people the ps3 for the same price as the blu-ray player. They might as well keep the price high and milk the blu-ray only market instead of competing with itself.
sony you have no foot left stop shooting.
2 of the three new generation consoles use dvds, more discs didn't matter when I hap my PS, it didn't bother me when I installed games on my pc, it doesn't bother me with my game cube and it wont bother me with my 360.
People that by a ford will say they like it, that doesn't mean they do, and it doesn't mean they think it's the best car, many times they will say it to justify their purchase. I can find 50 people that own a ps3 or a wii or a 360 and ask them if they like their choice and they will all say yes and are happy with the console. But that doesn't mean that 300 others do too, those ps3 fans in forums are likely of the kind that will say yes no matter what, same for fans in any other console forum...
hey man, online pink slip races sound pretty fun, you lose the race you lose your ride!
2 million sold. I wouldn't be happy with those numbers.
