everytime they say that consoles are dooooomed. A new more powerful PC that costs 3000 dollars will sway casual gamers.
PS3 developer saying the ps3 is limitless, HMMMMMMMM. Factor 5 is crawling over sony this gen, it's no surprise.

might want to look at what was released on what and. the big N had MGS and FF first, then they were changed to ps0. Also MGS has had titles released on other systems than the sony brand, Xbox and gamecube both had mgs games last gen.
My interest in Too Human has increased and my interest in lair has dropped considerably. Sorry, but that ground fighting in lair looks absolutely horrid, the weird green grass moss stuff was the only other colour I saw than brown. And the environments in too human look brilliant.
I loved the video, it's great to hear so much about what they're trying to do. The rpg elements sound great great and the visuals are stunning. The frame rate still needs some work though, and I'm still iffy on the camera and controls.

I know even more than that, like HS was originally being developed for the 360, but microsoft didn't have the budget to support it, and they didn't think it would garner as much interest as it has.

Microsoft never did well in japan, but at least they try, they don't sit there, they get games and bundles, they create japan marketed games like trusty bell and blue dragon. I would like to see how the trusty bell bundle sells, specially with little or no competition, maybe we'll see something unprecedented.
I would agree. I would say that the 360 is a success, and I would say that microsoft's entry into the game industry a success. Compare microsoft to some other entries into the market, you have sega, who's consoles never gathered enough support to stay attop the industry, the 3do(wtf), etc. Had microsoft been a failure they would've failed by now, but they continue to make headway and create a great gaming experience for it's consumers. the ps3 doesn't really have one. Kratos, R/C, J/D all are getting up there but none give the same impression as other system mascots.

The only games that my non-gamer friend know of are. WoW, GTA, Halo, and FF. These are the gamers that determine the market, not the hardcore gamers and fanboys. Halo will sell consoles just like gta sells consoles. Just like halo:CE sold consoles. If you don't think that will happen you're going to be laughed at.
BTW, the e3 trailer is a more realistic expectation of what to expect from the final game.

this rumor has been flaoting around as much as the MGS4 one on the xbox. Even though it's been debunked, crytek wants to get their engine working on the ps3 and 360 thats why they're looking for programmers, stop reading to far into it.
