Microsoft needs to stop that Activision thing ASAP and put Cloud gaming where it should be if they had no pressure related to competition. I mean... It seems that we are playing with 2021 version of xCloud since Activision deal was rumored and then announced. Like if Microsoft were waiting for the deal to be solid, before releasing the real cloud gaming they have invested so much time and money on it... or, maybe, Microsoft cloud gaming is a hoax and it will never be at the same level as NVID...
Starfield? Nah... It will be on PC and Cloud. Don't need to buy a 2020 console for that.

That's the point. Cloud gaming promised that you would not change your console anymore... (until it is dead) or that you could play the same games in a SmartTV, a PC, Smartphone... Now, Microsoft has paused that because of Activision situation, but I think Cloud gaming will improve enormously when the deal is done. And, then... why would you buy an Xbox if games run everywhere?
It seems to be 5 Series S for each Series X. This was the proportion past year. Maybe now it has improved, but there are too many not sold Xbox Series in shops already. It is difficult to tell which one sells more (or less).
Maybe the problem is that 8 of 10 people don't expend more than what Game Pass costs every month... because they prefer to buy FIFA, NFL or CoD (well... or play Fortnite...) once a year, sell the old one y live for another 12 months with it, and that's all. Not everybody need a monthly paid service with hundreds of games. Many people only want to play THE GAME of the moment and forget about all that noise XGP adds to their lives. And you could tell me that they can do this buying an X...

I continue thinking Xbox Series X should be compared to PS5 sales... and take Xbox Series S out of the count or in a separated one. Seeing how Xbox Series S is ageing is... well... I can just buy a laptop with AMD Zen 4 and RDNA3 for $799 and going down in prices... Xbox Series S GPU 4 TFLOPs and 10GB of RAM in 2023 seems like a joke for me. A PC with +12 FLOPs with AMD A620 mobo + Ryzen 7000 + Radeon RX + 1TB NVME PCIe4 inside a PC box is now around 799$ and coing down... If no other global...
Questions... will Microsoft-Activision-Blizzard- King make Xbox a better platform for gamers in general? Will it make PlayStation a worse one? Maybe, answers are not/yes. Discuss.
