Maybe, Microsoft did not have plans for a next gen console and bet only on the cloud, but it makes not sense. As they need AMD to develop cloud based systems to support future games. BTW, arriving late to a generation is something only PlayStation can do successfully, as the past confirms.
This seems to be what happens when you fire part of the team, leave some of the best artist go and get some unknown localized "devs" to fill what the main team can't get to.
Why "Review in progress" makes me think the worst?
Welcome back home, Hideo.
And remember games... on PS5 you stil can buy games cheaper than on launch day and from second hand. But there are only some countries where you can find physical Xbox Series games or the prices are are far superior to the same ones on PC. From the games I have bought for PS5, Xbox and PC for the past 4 years, the most expensives have been the Xbox ones. And Xbox Game Pass as an added is not a cheap option, really, when you like to select what games you want to play.
They are saying this since Xbox One. Remember the Xbox One S without disk drive? Who can be surprised about this in 2024?
Just a little kick in the ass and...
Only if you need an specific hardware to play those great games. If you can play with a TV set, a laptop, a smartphone, etc. and you don't need a console, how will that console sell? I prefer to play with the PC to Microsoft games, as I decide the quality and where I play them. A laptop with a Ryzen 7840HS, with Ryzen AI and 18 TFLOPs of graphics chip makes 4K TV gaming a better experience than any console with the same games, but also a far cheaper PC top box is now capable of something ...
And for the PC... and for my Samsung TV... where we go, we don't need an Xbox console.
So... now... Indy is a killer with a gun... more deadly than James Bond. Well, it seems to be another good Wolfenstein with nazis and some magic.

Universal Mods, please.
Conclusion: If you want to play on PC without selling a liver, buy AMD.
Profits... well... Microsoft generate profits... but Gamepass and Xbox... don't. They need to recover more than 20 years of investing on it.
Or you need to play games better suited for Steam Deck. What would be great is a more powerful version of Steam Deck with higher specs for latest games. But... it will take a couple of years, it seems, as Gabe is waiting for a real next gen Zen+RDNA really portable kit.
It is like Crackdown 3 with some strange skins... or it it only me?
The cloud is not for free for us? What a surprise...
1$ for a month... What a time to be alive!
No, it runs far better. But both are capable of achieving 60fps at the same settings without the problems the Xbox Series shows. If you set higher quality settings and resolution, RX 7900 XTX will maintain those 60fps, while PS5 and Xbox Series will not. BTW, 60 fps is a lowest mark for the comparison as consoles are involved. If they compared RX 7900 XTX to consoles, they would have checked the no FPS limit on the PC side.
