LED is either back lit or edge lit.. it always has a source of light on so I don't think led can ever get that infinite ratio of black and now that Sony has jumped in the oled tech it kind of reassures that oled is not going away like plasma. I think qled is Samsung last led panel and will be going oled now that it can be made a little cheaper And if Samsung wants to go thinner they have to ditch the light panel.

I just got the b6 my self on Sunday... but boy was it a long road, my initial plans was to by the ks8000 65" until I walked into Best Buy. Those guys swear by Sony so I was convinced that the 850d was a better tv so I went with it and was not happy with the black, wonderful tv when it comes to colors and motion but the black level was really bad, for me anyway. So I returned it only to have another rep assure me that I had a btter tv but if I wanted better blacks then got to the 930... ...
Down loaded it last night. Seems great but didn't play much.. trying to figure out why my damn tv switches from rgb 4k to yuv when I launch any game... so damn frustrating!
No worries with them being snark.. the French.... well they're French.... Canadians.... they were useless at war and still remain useless.. well Maybe not completely they figured out health insurance
