Quite true. That is a two MILLION unit discrepency and really goes to show just how unreliable VGChartz figures are! I have updated the article to also include these figures.
Why am I serious retarded? In statistics, it is called an established standard deviation. Have you ever taken a statistics class or do you just like insulting people for saying something different than what you believe? The Xbox 360 numbers being off is just one, and the most recent example of their established standard deviation (it was also the most relevant to my column which is Xbox 360 Examiner).
There is a reason that VGChartz is not endorsed by websites or companies...
Nice. I don't like soccer and have never played Fifa but at least they do that right!
I'm partial to Tifa myself. A huge rack with long flowing brown hair and athletic body. Doesn't get much better.
So in other words Blu-Ray is now outdated? Guess all those people that invested in Blu-Ray players and discs feel like suckers now.
Yeah they already did this comparing the consoles and it was epic fail for them too.
According to Pachter, hardware specialists at Wedbush predicted it takes about $50 to manufacture each unit which means they are cleaning up at $149.99.
Yeah cuz you are just so loaded that you can wipe your behind with $150 right?
Haha, great point!
You're forgetting that for Kinect to work you need a console too which is another $200.
At least it isn't like Assassin's Creed II where they took parts of the game OUT and then later released them as "DLC" you had to pay for!
I agree but at least they are being discounted.
Who are these guys? I've never heard of them. Is this really news?
I agree. American's do not buy on console's nationality like Japanese do. The 360 has more games, better games (based on review scores), and a large install base which means more of peoples friends have 360's so that is what they also get. These are the reasons the "under-powered" console dominates U.S. sales.
That game wasn't even that good. I tried playing the new co-op missions the other night and the very first game I found there was a team killer in it and the way it's set you, you don't respawn till they hit a checkpoint so we had to just leave. Why are you allowed to team kill in these missions?
Looks like I was spot on with my impressions considering the game currently has a lowly 57 on Metacritic.
The comments on this article just goes to show how ignorant PS3 fanboys are. They are willing to ignore facts and even make up their own so long as it benefits them. This is why the console wars exist. Not because 360 fanboys try to make their system look better, but because they are sick and tired of the Sony fanboys LYING.
360 outsold the PS3 in 2006, 2007, and 2008. This article is a blatant lie which is clearly in response to my article from yesterday titled "360 outsells PS3 for seventh straight month in US." Guess it hit a nerve with PS3 fanboys who can't handle facts so they just make up anything and pass it off as news.
Woah that girl dressed up as sniper wolf is hot!
Because they are getting the numbers from the same sources. If their hardware numbers have been proven to be unreliable and wrong by up to 2 million as seen with the PS3, what makes you think the software numbers are more accurate?
If anything, they are LESS accurate because low-selling games are harder to accurately track than hardware that sells in the tens of millions. They have been criticized in the past for the gross inaccuracy of their figures when it comes to low sa...
