There weren't any big name shooters when Halo 3 launched? Have you forgotten that Call of Duty 4 was released only a few months after Halo 3?!
Using your logic that there are more copies of Halo 3 and MW2 out there so it is played more, Wii Sports should be the most played game for now until eternity because it has sold so many copies. Right?
And yes, when you are EXPECTING to finish first, then a third place finish is disappointing.
That logic makes no sense. So since Super Mario Brothers has been out for 25 years it should be more played than anything on 360 or PS3?
Now all they have left to remove is the ridiculously stupid killstreaks, the map design that encourages campers to hide in corners, heartbeat sensors on guns, super soldier perks, and deathstreaks that reward players for sucking.
Anybody who says Move is not a copy of the Wii motion controllers is funny.

I also agree. Square-Enix used to be awesome. The Final Fantasy games from the past are still among some of my all time favorites. Ever since FFX though, I think they have all sucked. Mistwalker, at least to me, is better at making RPGs. I wish they would make Lost Odyssey 2!
I agree, I see no reason why it would stay as a PS3 exclusive when FF13 did well. Why would Square intentionally limit their sales?
But if it wasn't part of some sort of deal then this really doesn't make any sense at all. We have to assume that Square-Enix is a little smarter than to waste their time and money working on a year old port for a small Japanese install base on the 360. But then again if releasing FF13 in Japan were part of negotiations for another title to come to 360, then it becomes clear.

Killzone has never sold anywhere near as close to what Halo does...
First of all, 4.2 is not three times 1.5. Second of all, you are using VGChartz as a reference. They pretty mcuh make up their numbers. Their PS3 figures are 2 million off from what Sony themselves reported. TWO MILLION OFF.
Actually do do sell a new controller/charge and play bundle for $40. I swear on my life that they do. Their new controllers are $35. I live in Niagara Falls New York.

I have never seen a controller for $49.99 at any of the stores you just mentioned. Guess maybe you should check out your local Best Buy and GameStops cuz you're not current on your pricing.
$49.99? Sheesh where do you get your controllers from? You should proably stop purchasing from wherever it is. Even Walmart sells them for $35! And you can find Play & Charge kits online for $9.99. $7.99 on Ebay from trusted powersellers.
Also, Bungie tweeted on Sept 14th that Reach already surpassed the all-time highest record for Halo 3 concurrent unique users on LIVE. Guess it DOESN'T stand to reason that less people would be playing it then, right?
