If you look at the links in the article, you can see that the story cites several sources. It isn't Examiner creating a story unless these other sites were also "just creating a story" and if they are, maybe you should take it up with them and not blame something that simply references them?

Mystogan, your link is from 2007. The URL I showed you above is from 2010 where they say that they are not working on an Xbox 720 because Kinect is meant to extend the life cycle. This is the more timely story, thus it "trumps" the URL your obviously had to dig up.

Well it is basically $20-$30 off with $10-$20 in free MS Points so it's almost too good of a deal to NOT get it lol.

Points only expire if you get them as part of a promotion or if you win them (like in 1 vs 100). If you just buy them normally they do not expire.
I'm not sure what you are saying. I think you might be confusing Microsoft Points with gamer score. MSP are used to buy things so you can get map packs, DLC add-ons, etc with them. Obviously this doesn't defeat the purpose of having them, it's a promotion.

Glitches, Ico? What are you talking about? It says Call of Duty and Halo. That is more than 2 games. This would apply to Halo 3, Halo: Reach, Call of Duty 4, MW, MW2... SOCOM, KZ2, and MAG are also guilty of this though the article is written by an Xbox 360 Examiner so are you surprised these aren't mentioned?

Yep thanks Nightshade. I was out for a bit and unable to edit it until now. I have done so though. Whether or not the update was a direct result of this article, I'm not sure, but it is very well could be. Looks like all those that reported it as a duplicate or lame or those that tried to argue how Reach SHOULDN'T have been number 1 are red in the face now. I feel good when an article like this actually changes things. It's good to see Reach truly was number 1.
