Yeah the Xbots are getting really defensive now, even attacking other Xbox 360 fans like myself for criticizing how stupid Kinect is. I am part of an Xbox 360 fan group on Linkedin and the found gave me a warning for speaking ill of Kinect!
Yeah I don't see why they think Kinect will be able to compete with a PS4 if/when it's announced and released. Hopefully they are actually working on a new Xbox in secret.
MS really shot themselves in the foot with Kinect. They are abandoning their core audience which is what made the Xbox brand so successful in the first place in an attempt to cater to the large casual market. The problem is, an Xbox 360 with Kinect costs over twice as much as a Wii. Why would a casual spend double their money?
Yeah the Xbox 360 Examiner is a PS3 fanboy. Just saying Sony did it right with the PS3 where Microsoft made a huge mistake makes one a Sony fanboy now? *rolls eyes*
It's clear that it isn't going to end here. This is Microsoft's new strategy. Don't look at the amount of casual games vs the amount of total games in the library, look at the amount of casual games vs the amount of total games released last year. It's a lot different of a proportion when you think about it like that. Microsoft abandoned the hardcore audience in the last few years.

Why are people reporting this as a duplicate article? That other story NEVER mentions review scores at all. In fact, that other story is just a news piece reporting on the launch event, it doesn't argue that Kinect could be a flop in any way, shape, or form. I think people need to have their reporting authority taken away if they simply report a story to try to hide it.

But don't you think if it disappoints people who bought it, this would also ultimately affect sales as people who already it warn their friends not to buy it? You would think that usually sales of something like this grow because people go out and pick it up after endorsements from their friends and family.
Achievements are better than trophies because they are more specifically tailored to things. It's different saying you have a bronze trophy for something than 50 gamerscore for it. A bronze could mean anything, the 50 is an actual quantifiable score.

That is incorrect, it was sold out at Amazon just yesterday and going for $340 from Amazon-affiliated stores. Now Amazon has it fully stocked and at $149. Doesn't make sense, does it? You would think if they were ALREADY sold out, they would CONTINUE to be sold out through launch, when demand is at its highest.
Well then why can you so easily purchase it from just about every major online retailer? Amazon was previously sold out and now they mysteriously aren't. Kind of strange wouldn't yous ay?

Well yeah this isn't a surprise, the Xbox 360 version of most multiplatform games sells/plays better than its PS3 counterpart. So what? PS3 is still a great system.
