That title design is very similar to the inFamous design.
"generational leap"? That's great! I was thinking the same thing about Gears 3 and how it looks like it's on new hardware compared to the previous two games and also making it's competitors look pale in comparison. So Do I think Forza 4 is going to look as good as Turn 10 is claiming? It's most certainly possible...
Datnjdom, you can't see because you're a blind fanboy. Go look at the comparisons of Gears 3 and UC3’s beta.
^^^^Pssst, sorry if what I said flew over your head, let me dissect it for you. We're talking about the 360, so the reference to NPD is obviously geared towards the 360s sales and the fact that this article says 360 owners are dying to play games that are exclusive to the PS3. If this was true, then the PS3 would be the one with the higher sales. We are talking about 360 users and where the 360 reigns supreme is in the US, hence the NPD reference.
Killzone's art style isn't for everyone, but it apparently is for the author of the article since they're using it as a benchmark.
360 users don't care about those games. Haven't you seen the sales of the 360 lately? If this retarded article was true, then the PS3 would be leading the NPD sales. If things have turned around it's one sided, it's just another day for the 360 crowd, nothing is really impressive in the industry right now, regardless of the pathetic hype.
He/she is insecure, that's all. Everyone knows Gears is THE beast amongst beast, whether they admit it or not, they know.
It has great momentum every year. Not everybody falls for the hype of competitors mediocre exclusives, especially when that means spending another $300 dollars to buy a new system to play those overhyped games. Guess what folks? The multiplats are better than 99% of those exclusives, just look at the sales.
Would you prefer it had mediocre exclusives, lol?
There is NO hard math in this article. Hell, they even admit to not having any actual numbers, besides what has been announced by the company. This is nothing but an article speculating with NO source material to even back up their claims. I thought I was going to fearsome well though out and explained.
Edit: lol, I can't believe you said cold hard math. I had to go look at it again, lol. Anyway, if this app was launched alongside Kinect at launch, it would've obvious...
Nice...
1 million in 2 months, not doing well? Yeah, that's butthurt...
It's not mediocre. I can see how someone playing the game late, after all the games that have come out since then, would think it's over-hyped, but not mediocre. What I don't get, is how people think the story is amazing...that baffles me. Amazing stories go to games like Half-life, Metal Gear, Mass effect...games like that. But then again, I find UC fanboys to be zealots amongst zealots...
Gears 3 looks better than UC3 so why wouldn't it look better than 2, lol?
It'll have Kinect support, so I'd say a decent amount if intriguing enough...and if priced right.
Edit: Heartnet, the Arade version that MS is publishing? I haven't heard of anything like that.
Yeah, plus avatar support, plus Noch didn't mind since they're not using his code for their game.
Stop telling people that. You're messing up the underground railroad.
Ah, pirate, you as a ps3 fanboy should no better than to generalize. In all honesty, you seem intimidated by what could be, Nintendo being able to(if they wanted) boast having the most powerful console on the market. And even if Nintendo fanboys were saying such a thing, it is more in line with what Nintendo needed to do to survive in the industry. Nintendo had always been consistent with power, in what would be considered industry standard--up until they introduced Wii. If Nintendo would...
I've seen a lot of you drool over Sev and Rico, let's not forget to mention that also. I think the series is called Killzone, if any bystander was wondering.
We're gamers, not adulterers...
