I don't have much time for gaming let alone time for reading for entertainment. I purchased the very first Gears of War comic on release date and was very turned off by it which has me hesitant of any type reading concerning the franchise. Maybe if I find time to read, I'll dig into all the novels and the remaining comics.
Why are console gamers so hyped for this? The graphics? What is it?

Exactly! People are complaining because they suck. They should use the weapon instead of b*thing and moaning about it. I'm good at using all the weapons on the battlefield: from cover to ink grenades; or Boltok pistol to the Retro lancer, I'm good at playing the game. The only one I need to work on is the sniper(Long shot). At least I admit that I need practice with it and that's what I'll do to step my game up.
I thought I was going to find lag somewhere stated in your comment. What you're complaining about is somewhat silly. Gears online is like that picture of a small fish getting ready to be eaten by a bigger fish, then that fish is about to be eaten by one that's bigger and then the cycle continues in that manner. Simply put, there will always be someone bigger and badder than you.
If it was ok to steal kills then that system would not be there in the first place--that was the whole reason it was created for Gears 2 because people hated getting their kills stolen. Only noobs or a*holes steal kills, anyone that tells you it's ok to steal kills is either one of the two, god forbid both. It's never ok to steal and that can be applied to all things in life, lol.
The 360s colors are more lush.
You must be new to the series online.there is a thing called Gears etiquette--don't take people's kills. But after 3 seconds the down is up for grabs.

EA favors the 360? Since when? They even intentionally made BF3 look worse on the 360 in favor of PS3.

I'm willing to bet his game won't be worth me purchasing a $400-500 new console. I haven't heard any developer I'm interested in saying there needs to be new hardware, it's always folks that I view as mediocre.
