Having bad controls would be completely detrimental to any game. If you can't control it well, you just can't play it well. Hands down, bar none.
Things like 640p, scratched discs, and so on are not detrimental to gameplay. Maybe detrimental to product quality, but it has absolutely no effect on gameplay.
When a game like Halo 3 is as widely releaed as it was, then there are going to be more people looking for more things wrong. That's just the way of life.
So, how the hell did you end up getting an elite directly from Microsoft?
Also, in regards to the article, lack of high-profile games? Metal Gear Solid is pretty fudging high profile. Final Fantasy is pretty fudging high profile.
That being said, I would also like everybody to know I don't own a PS3. I'm totally in the 360 camp, but it's impossible to deny.
