I give you a big ass piece of flat land, litter it with huge ass slow-moving targets, allow you to move around in circles and fire the same ammo at them and that's epic. Don't confuse graphics with gameplay, boys.
Gameplay looks to be highly monotonous as it appears that the battles take place in large unstrategic open areas and you basically breathe the same fireball at everything in sight. Where's the grandeur in flying a dragon if half the enemies around you dwarf your dragon?
Predicted verdict: an uninspired game, inconsistent on graphics quality and completely missing the point of flying a dragon. 7/10
If there is a prize to be won for best technological wonder in a console, then perhaps your argument might hold some water. Unfortunately, the only prizes to be won in the console business are sales, profits and market share, so your philosophical take on this issue is really quite misplaced.
I think Sony's taking a step in the right direction, into an area where they stand a better chance of making a profit.
How is PS3 a better gaming experience right now when there are no games?
And how is it that only PS3 will have a price drop in time to come?
Wii v. PS3 will be a repeat of DS v. PSP. The little guy will win because its gaming concept appeals to a broader audience.
Where PS3 fails, fall back on PS2 to make an argument.
Someone ought to tell this guy that money talks and BS walks.
Every time a Sony fan has to justify his silly purchase, he's gritting his teeth, soaking in sweat and ripping his hair out. But he hides his pain, bites his tongue and lies through his teeth. He thinks that by doing so, martyrdom awaits him. He obstinately turns a blind eye to the fact that the rest of the gaming world is passing him by, numbing his mind with the single mantra "wait and see".
Face it. GTHD was not a preview. It was PS3's first instalment in next...
Ironically, you don't have a PS3, you don't have a clue what KZ2 will be like, so you don't know what you're talking about.
You can already sense how b!tchjealous some of these rabbid Sony fans get everytime there's Halo news. With RFOM being mediocre at best and Lair bound to the same fate, they're just on their knees praying hard that Killzone 2 will be half the game that Halo 2 was.
Spend $600 on a console just to play 1 game that has no release date in sight and will have a better version ported over - that's the best advice I've heard.
Stop insulting the Japanese, they're not as daft as you say. They won't restrict their profits to a 3rd placed console.
Babblonian, read again what you just wrote.
"But every time a good game is released I see the sales go up. So that means that by the end of the year the PS3 will be really close to the 360 sales and (dare I say) maybe even pass by the 360 sales.
Now that's succes. No wait, that's VICTORY."
I don't know how you could mathematically extrapolate a finding that PS3 will be really close to 360 sales by the end of the year because the empirical...
Man that sucks! It just adds to the phenomenally astronomical losses already suffered by Sony.
I wonder why you must so defensively regard this as an article "not in favour of PS3" when it is really just an article in favour of Xbox360?
Superior games on a superior console, it is not surprising.
Man, you've got a real virtue going for you there, waiting for PSP waiting for PS3. I'd love to say your patience will pay off, but frankly, it won't 'cos you're just waiting for the next promised "exciting thing" to wait for.
WE're talking about PSP here and we all know how successful that piece of junk is, but all you can do is hark back on Sony's historical success as if its a breach of your Sony contract for not doing so.
Put money where your mouth is and then maybe your words might be worthwhile marking.
Congratulations you have 1 more thing to look forward to playing other than dressing up your wolverine action figures in barbie dresses.
