Yeah right, he spent hours writing a review based on a version that had crappy framerates and controls, assumed the problems would be fixed (how you can assume anything about how the final controls play out unless you play the final build is beyond me), played the final build and bingo its just like what he wet-dreamt it would be and his review was therefore validated? Can we be less naive here? Who works like that honestly? Who the hell does work on the basis that he might have to re-do h...
I have to say playing FPS with mouse and keyboard is plain weak.
4 theories 1 truth. Thanks Sony for another delay.
I suppose if R* press said the sun rises from the west and sets in the east, you'd believe it too. C'mon man its obvious, delays and PS go hand in hand. They didn't get the name Delaystation for nothing.
It is unfortunate that they started developing this game on the PS3 first because it really shows in the limitations of the graphics.
Sad.
Thanks Sony. Delaying this game is perfectly fine with me as there are just too many AAA games coming up on the 360 in the coming months it'll be impossible to play them all.
To be honest Gears of War is a hard act to follow and I'm not expecting Halo 3 to top it. Also, expectations are set way too high for the Halo franchise, so it is more likely than not that those expectations won't be met. I'm personally going to be realistic about my expectations of Halo 3 and not go off proclaiming that it'll be the next coming of Christ.
You are wrong there, it does matter that PS3 accounts for most of Blu-ray player sales. What do you reckon is the ratio of DVD players to consoles in a household? Would you have bought a Blu-ray player if you were not a PS gamer - that is the all important question in the long term because most households are not gamer households, much less PS gamer households. The true adoption rate of HD format is still very much at its nascent stages.
I just realized how much my girlfriend looks like Nariko.
"At this stage, the Blu-ray versus HD DVD war is a public relations battle as opposed to a head-to-head competition about which offers a better consumer experience; efforts focused on which camp is winning the month-to-month battle for more available titles, greater DVD sales, or greater player sales (advice to both camps - get over the month-to-month shipment stats and focus on consumer benefits)."
There we have it, Blu-ray, if it is winning, is not winning on the me...
Man you really have to stop lying yourself if you're going to call someone else a liar.
Andy, you don't know these Sonyfans. They'd rather have their moms raped and families killed than have a bad review for a Sony game. The brainwashing is that bad.
360 gamers, remember well the arguments in this Sonyboy's article when GT5 decides to include damage into the game.
Nah sorry, that'll never happen, the cell can't handle it.
Poor Nasim. Must be painful not to be able to play GOTY. We'll be kind and let you continue dreaming that KZ2 will score anything more than an 8. But you've seen for yourself the standard set by Sony with Lair's score, so just be prepared for another letdown.
What are you celebrating about? The Edge preview pretty much confirms EGM's take on the controls.
Frank Miller endorses Xbox360 = PS3 is doomed.
Why 52?
@ etownone
You really shouldn't be giving them any more false hopes. That's just not right.
Is it so hard for Sony fans to think before they believe everything they read? If I were the reviewer's boss, I would have fired him for writing reviews in such manner. You don't write a review based on an unfinished product making assumptions and then validate it later when the finished product comes in. That just makes your whole work process highly questionable. So when the final build came in, did he have anything else to say about the controls and gameplay? Nothing? Focking ridicul...
